The content is in general that which is newsworthy, however, it is important to keep in mind that the message be positive and reflect dynamic teaching and progressive and ambitious scientific research.

Web banners are an increasingly important communication tool to draw attention to various factors in University operations. The web banner is a powerful advertising medium, not only on University websites but also on various other web media that is popular with target groups and the general public. The University of Iceland has a set policy concerning digital communication and places great emphasis on a meticulous process in the design of all web banners in the University name. Following are a few examples on the use and design of University of Iceland’s banners. The font in the banners shall be Frutiger Roman and Frutiger light.
